Overview
Don’t Wait Out Tooth Pain
A dental emergency is stressful — and toughing it out usually makes things worse and more expensive. Whether it’s a sudden ache, a lost filling, a cracked tooth or swelling, we’ll see you promptly, relieve the pain, and explain your options clearly.
Once you’re comfortable, we restore what’s damaged with crowns, fillings, root canals or extractions — whatever gets you back to healthy.

Knocked-Out Tooth?
Act Fast — You May Save It
If a tooth is knocked out, time matters. Handle it only by the crown (never the root), gently rinse without scrubbing, and if you can, place it back in the socket. If not, keep it in milk or saliva and call us — the goal is to see a dentist within about 30 minutes.

Answers
Common Questions
What should I do if a tooth is knocked out?
Pick it up by the crown (not the root), gently rinse off dirt without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket, biting on gauze to hold it. If you can’t, keep it in milk or your saliva and get to a dentist within about 30 minutes for the best chance of saving it.
Is a root canal as bad as people say?
No — that’s an outdated reputation. Modern root canals are done with effective anesthesia and typically feel no different than getting a filling. The procedure actually relieves the pain caused by an infected tooth and lets you keep your natural tooth.
How soon can you see me for a dental emergency?
Call us as early as you can and we’ll do everything possible to see you the same day. In the meantime, we’ll give you first-aid guidance over the phone to keep you comfortable.
My old crown or filling fell out — is that an emergency?
It’s urgent but usually not dangerous. Save the piece if you can, avoid chewing on that side, and call us promptly. Leaving a tooth exposed can lead to sensitivity, decay or breakage, so we’ll get it repaired quickly.
