Dental Crowns & Caps
A custom crown rebuilds and protects a tooth that’s cracked, worn or heavily filled — restoring full strength and a natural look.

When You Might Need a Crown
A crown (or ‘cap’) covers the entire visible part of a tooth. We recommend one when a tooth is too damaged for a simple filling — after a large cavity or fracture, following a root canal, or to restore a worn-down tooth. Crowns also top dental implants and anchor fixed bridges.
Modern porcelain crowns are tooth-colored and blend beautifully with your natural smile. With good care they typically last many years.
Fixed Bridges
When you’re missing one or more teeth in a row, a fixed bridge uses crowns on the neighboring teeth (or implants) to hold replacement teeth in place — a sturdy, natural-looking, non-removable option.

Crowns Done Right
- Natural, tooth-colored porcelain

How long do dental crowns last?
With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, crowns commonly last 10–15 years or longer. Avoiding habits like chewing ice or hard candy helps them last even longer.
What can be done about old, dark or defective fillings?
Old fillings can be replaced with tooth-colored composite, or — if a tooth is significantly damaged — a crown, inlay or onlay. We’ll evaluate whether a filling is failing and recommend the most conservative fix.
