Gentle Technology
Laser Dentistry
For certain gum procedures, a dental laser means less bleeding, less soreness afterwards and often no stitches.

Comfortable Treatment
Where a Laser Genuinely Helps
A dental laser delivers precisely focused light energy that can shape soft tissue and reduce bacteria. Because it seals small blood vessels and nerve endings as it works, treatment is often more comfortable both during and after — with less bleeding, less swelling and frequently no need for sutures.
Common Uses
Gum disease treatment — disinfecting periodontal pockets alongside scaling and root planing, helping reduce bacteria in areas instruments struggle to reach. Gum reshaping — evening an uneven gumline or as part of crown lengthening. Treating sores — easing cold sores and ulcers and speeding healing. Minor soft-tissue procedures — removing small overgrowths or trimming tissue around a restoration.
An Honest Note on Scope
Lasers are a genuinely useful tool, not a replacement for everything. They don’t remove old metal fillings, and for many procedures conventional instruments remain the right choice. We use the laser where it clearly benefits you — not because it sounds impressive.

Patient Benefits
- Less bleeding during treatment
- Often no stitches needed
- Typically less soreness afterwards
- Helpful for anxious patients

Does laser treatment hurt?
Many laser procedures need little or no anaesthetic, and patients often describe just a warm sensation. For deeper treatment we still numb the area for your comfort.
Is it safe?
Yes, when used appropriately by trained clinicians. You’ll wear protective eyewear, as will we. Dental lasers have been used in practice for many years.
